Bad service

I had a cellphone contract woth Cell C and i settled it in 2022 July30th after I lost my job. Cell C did not close the account and instead allocated monthlypayments until 2024 January., that is the expiry date of the contract. I was never allocated DATA and AIRTIME during that period. Now Cell C has handed me over to the attorneys saying thatI owe them after I called them to close the contract because they were offering me more contracts which I could not afford due unemployment. Pls assist me with this matter as well as it is frustrating me and i have health issues that I cannot take such stress.
