Bad Service advise
I just took out a new contract at Cell c and once i received the phone, i called Cell c to ask if i could retain my prepaid Cellc number and was told I have to pay R210? I then spoke with the agent who dealt with my new contract and he said I should have told him I want to keep my old Cell c number so he could do it then without charge. I cannot understand why the agent did not give me the option and tell me that should i need to change it later it would be at a fee. I asked him why he did not give me that option and he said that since its a new contract it comes with a sim but I should have told him. Surely anyone taking out a new contract should be made aware of this? This is bad service.

Unfortunately, when a new line is sold, it is a new activation of contract and comes with a new number. It remains the customers responsibility to inform the sales consultant of any requirements they may have.
