BAD SERVICE

On the 15th of November 2021 Cell C issued and debited my account with R858. On the same day (15th of November 2021 at 7:23 PM) I contacted their customer care and spoke to Nokuthula Zikhali, to find out why Cell C debited my account with R858, she could not provide reasons and transferred me to Maria Moshoeshoe (Accounts Department), who advised me to contact the cancellation team on the 16th of November 2021 between 08h00 and 18h00. On the 16th of November 2021 at 10h30, I contacted the cancellation team and spoke to Loudness Mbowana, who could not fully justify the debit order amount, she said there are two active lines which were converted to month-to-month and amounted to R324, as they expired on the 14th of June 2021, and then she said there's a 5GB that I am also paying for which I said I do not know, as the 5GB plan I had expired in 2020 and I had cancelled it. This means I was wrongfully debited for R531 (R855 - 324), which must be refunded. I told her that I want to cancel and deactivate the SIM cards that were converted to month-to-month with immediate effect, she said her system does not reflect an immediate cancellation instead it reflects a 30 day notice period, meaning the sim cards will be deactivated on the 16th of December 2021 and my account will have to be debited on the 15th of December for R324. I then told her that month-to-month is an arrangement and not a contract, as it is not legally binding and can be cancelled anytime, I told her that my account cannot be debited on the 15th of December 2021, as I have cancelled the service. I requested to speak to her supervisor (Neo Sedebi) and they were playing a delay tactic and she said the supervisor says it takes 30 days to cancel a month-to-month arrangement, I asked her to get her supervisor on the phone and she said she is busy on the line and will call me back. Irrespective of that I want my R531 back in my Account and the two lines permanently deleted with immediate effect, otherwise You will hear from My Lawyers.
