Just when one thinks that the same road can not be walked twice ; Cell C proves it can!So I cancelled my one account with Cell C approximately 2 months ago meaning that my last payment would be the end of May 2019 for that specific account . Cancellation goes trough and at about the 29th of May 2019 the account migrates to prepaid . Due to my past experience with Cell C I pay all my contracts cash with them and I have always used my current prepaid number which was an open line at that time as a reference to pay at Nedbank . A couple of days into the new month and I receive a courtesy call to politely tell me that my account is in arrears . Long story short , I mailed *** my proof , got my reference number and left it there . A few more days passes and heyyyy another call . Which I actually expected nothing more than disappointment due to our history . Nevertheless . I resent all the details again and the kind agent gave the thumbs up that she received the proof of payment . Than on the 11/06/2019 I received a mail thanking me for making the payment to Cell C and even though this was not my fault I did not even get an apology . Than recently during this week I went into a store just to double check my hunch of a disappointment . The consultant in store gladly tells me that the “ method of reference to payment has changed “ guhmm..she calls her assistant manager and she spins the same story and says that a communication has been send out to client in this regard which I told them that neither me or my sister received such communication and that I paid with that cell phone number as reference the previous month . Ok ok ok ..they suggest that I mail them the proof of payment but , the email address does not work that was written down for me . I called today again and explaining the same story but , I have to resend the proof with my account number which I did. MY ACCOUNT IS IN ARREARS FOR R356.12c !!!!!Cmooonnnnn!!!For a month in arrears which I paid!!!This will affect my credit record and I want a letter from Cell C stating that the money was paid and that I was never in arrears . One work so hard to get your record on a good slate not to be broken by such *********** systems . BAD SIGNAL , EXTRA BAD SERVICE , NO COMMUNICATION OR PROPER FOLLOW UPS ...CUSTOMER SERVICE ???????PLEASE SO ME WHERE THAT IS ???
Best regards,
