bad service

HI,

My phone was ****** the past weekend, i tried to do a sim swap several times with the contact centre and i failed authentication because i did not know the frequently contacted people... i was referred to the store with my id and proof of residence... i went to New town mall yesterday and the agent told me they cannot assist as well if i cannot remember the contacts, i then asked if i can get an affidavit, the agent confirmed they only use the security questions and they cannot help me with an affidavit.. Now am stuck with no cellphone and i cant do any of my transactions because i need the number. I am not happy with the service i received especially after i went to the store as they did not care but continued to chat with their colleagues while i was stressed on the next step.

Our consultants have to follow specific business rules when handling customer queries or requests. A security check is mandatory and if the customers' answers do not match the information on the system then the consultant can not assist.

We will get someone to assist.

Good day, I do understand the process at the contact centre but i need a way forward with how will i get my sim swop done if at the store they cannot assist with my id copy and proof of residence because the agent did not even attempt to check anything on the system, i was told if i failed over the phone then how will they help because they ask more contact numbers compared to the call centre. Please assist Regards,
