Bad customer service and a bullying complaint.
Hi, I have a contract with cellc which ends in January however I wanted to pay-off the contract in July therefore I made a payment of R380 using EFT with the reference number that is provided on my cellc account statement on 25 June 2021 which meant I would put a 30 days notice to close the contract in July. It came to my attention that the money dodging reflect on their account, I contacted cellc on this to be corrected but it wasn't, I have presented multiple complains and proof of payments to cellc and even today the 11th August 2021 they still day the payment didn't go through and they opened a case on it. *The 24- 48 hours waiting period which I was promised has passed and no communication from cellc. * In July I was then debited R428 instead of R179 and when I called to query I was told I was on arrears plus debit order cancellation fees app****, how do I get on arrears of I overpaid cellc? * In August I would've finished my business with cellc however I'm not striped off my rights note I have to be in contact even though I didn't want to be anymore, doing business with them costs me to pay another monthly instalments whereas they don't seem to care by sorting out their affairs. *Below is the list of reference numbers that I got from them which, even today no one has reached out to me : 3 July 2021. -20 July; ***
-3 August; *** -6 August; ***
I also went to the cellc branch at Galleria Mall, 3 August 2021- one indian lady promised "the issue will be resolved in 2 working days, if you get no response please come to the branch I will personally close your contract" so I left but still wasn't looked at. 6 August 2021, I went to the cellc branch again where the same lady then said "I didn't say come here, cellc we will contact you, if you got time running around don't come here with your problems" another chubby, dark, tall Indian guy jumps into the conversation, ganging up on me, I had never felt so embarrassed in my life?...
I have been calling cellc ever since, please assist on the matter.
