Bad customer experience nd service

A few months ago I took out a contract with Cell c (Huawei Y7 2019). Not long after – I dropped my phone after numerous of attempts to switch the phone on I noticed a crack on the screen guard. I thereafter immediately took it to the nearest cell c store to be sent in for repairs. A quote was thereafter sent to me for just over R4000.00 – I refused to pay such a high amount for repairs for a phone that cost R4000-00 new brand. When I queried why is it costing so much – Cell c informed me the phone screen has been cracked. Confused, as I was sure that the crack was just on the screen guard. Furiously, I requested the phone to be sent back immediately. After months of laying in my cupboard – A friend of mine took the phone as he was going to China. I agreed as the would’ve probably costed me 3x cheaper to have the phone fixed on that side. To my surprise – I found out that Cell c repairs center has removed my phone chip. So basically, what this means is they took the ‘’brain’’ out of the body of the phone. So now I sit with dumbless phone that can never be repaired. I called Cell c repair center to informed them about the incident that has occurred. I spoke to one of the manager’s by the name of JOE. His words to me was ‘’Your word against OUR’S’’…. Cell c is a bunch of ******* AND *****. They not only give themselves a bad name but also to our country!!!! Because of companies like cell c – South Africa crime rate is so high.
