Bad customer care service
I live far from a cell c store so I decided to call in to blacklist my device. I was told that I had to go to a cell c store to blacklist the device. Trust me when I go there they will tell me to call customer service. I know a lot of people that dealt with the same issue

16 Mar 2023, 13:22Cell C has got to be one of the worst companies out there. On 23 February I was handed a free Cell C sim card and I thought I would test it and take out a contract if I liked it. I placed the sim card in my phone the same day. The sim card then got activated in the phone and I got an SMS with the number of the card ***. The phone got ****** yesterday and I asked for it to be blacklisted. I was told I couldn't be helped and that I need to go to a store that was far away from me. I was then emailed the blacklisting form and completed it but I gave the cellphone number I could be reached on. I received an email saying they can't find the imei number on the number I provided so I sent them the Cell C number that was in the phone and no response. I called customer care and asked for the device to be blacklisted and gave them the number that was in the phone and that was activated in the phone but I was told they couldn't find the imei number and advised to visit a store again with my ID and proof of address. This company is completely useless and I don't think I'll be taking a contract with this company ever. I advise others never to deal with this company. They will just want your money and won't help you if your device gets ******. They will tell you there's nothing they can do
