Bad C-Fibre support.

My C-Fibre connectivy was down from Friday 19/03/2021 07:00 to 17:00 on Saturday 20/03/2021. They blamed Frogfoot for the outage. Then today, 22/03/2021 I lost connectivity again at around 13:00. According to them I needed a new username and password, which they would send me on SMS. Atfer 30 minutes nothing. I phobed again, just to be sent a username and password that did not work. Third time, they told me their system has problems, and will send it once resolved. Still waiting. It is now 14:15. This costed me 3Gb of data, and 40 minutes of mobile airtime on MTN.

It is now 15 hours and 30 minutes later, and still no word from Cell C, other than a reference number: CF188055.

Please phone me and provide the user name and password urgently, as I need to work!

When phoning this morning 23/03/2021 at 08:10, I am advised that their system generating user names and passwords is still down. This is simply just shocking!

Did their technicians / software engineers even start looking into the problem, or are they only starting this morning?

Still no resolution or concrete feeback on when this matter will be resolved. Effectively I now lost 3 days of connectivity since Friday morning, and used all my MTN airtime on calls to you. On top of that, I had to use 4gb of MTN mobile data to do my job. My contract ends on 15 April 2021.....will peobably have to look for an ISP that can work for me. :-(

No resolution as yet. After speaking to a consultant for 15 minutes, it sounded like she wanted me to provide the password on the PPPOE settings, but it is masked. By now, I have delved into extra airtime. I asked her to phone me back, as my airtime was running out. She actually told me she was going on lunch, and will phone me back after that! :-O

I decided to simply reset my router again, and Voila! Could they not just simply have contacted me after their system issue, to ask me to do just that? Could she not have told me to do this when I phoned again this morning?

In summary: This exercise cost me at least R200.00, and no Netflix / Showmax.

Very, very disappointed. And this is putting it mildly.
