Bad business practice by Cell C in Edgars Store

I signed a Cell C contract in the Edgars Store, Cavendish Square, CLAREMONT, Cape Town. The sales assistant was in a hurry to finish her shift and neglected to inform me properly about the conditions of the contract, before I had signed the contract. I was under the impression that it was a control chat contract and only found out later, when I received a Cell C account for almost (R1 500,00) one thousand five hundred rand, that it was an open line contract with a two thousand rand limit. I only wanted a control chat contract for my son, but was horribly surprised by this bad business practice. When I contacted the sale assistant, she was totally in denial and refused to assist me to amend the conditions of the contract, which I wanted to be done asap. On contacting Cell C, they totally washed their hands off the whole matter and referred me to the Edgars Store. It's a Cell C contract that I have signed! Why is Cell C using other parties to do their work for them, (in my case it was done in a most *********** way ) and afterwards wash their hands off the matter? It is their business and they are making money out of these contracts, but they have no way of dealing with the incompetence of other parties who are offering cellphone contracts on their behalf. I contacted the Edgars Store management who referred it to some other party who completely ignored the main reason for the complaint and skirted the issue. Cell C is guilty of bad business practice and so are the other parties who are ***********ly offering contracts on their behalf.

Cell C may apologise a million times, but it does not solve any of the problems that I have experienced. Why do they want to discuss the complaint with me? Haven't I already spelt out the problem? What I need from Cell C is their solution to the problem that I have had to pay a huge billing of my account that was directly caused by the withholding of vital information from me, by the *********** Cell C sales assistant. I have received ********* feedback from Edcon Cell C. Who is Edcon Cell C? Who are they responsible to? They are offering Cell C contracts to the public but Cell C is washing their hands off these contracts and fails to assist with problems related to these contracts. Making money out of contracts and refusing responsibility for them, is bad business practice.

Cell C did respond to my complaint, but ignored the fact that they have already referred me to Edcon where the problem originated, and it is the responsibility of Edcon to solve the problem. They can't bail Edcon out at this stage. They can't attempt to solve this complex problem by means of a simple solution. By pushing their solution down my throat, Cell C has also, like Edcon, violated my human rights. I will only be satisfied if Edcon repays me in full, all the unnecessary expenses that I have suffered due to the withholding of the vital information regarding the terms and conditions of the cellphone contract, by Ruwayda of Edcon, from me.
