BAD BAD BAD SERVICE
My son in law lodged a claim with C Insure Insurance. The excess fee was paid on the 2nd of November. On the 22nd of November when I enquired about the replacement phone, I was told that the phone was dispatched. On the 28th, we still have not received the phone. The branch manager of Cell C at Brakpan Mall then followed up for us and was advised that the phone was dispatched and will be at his store either Monday 2/12 or Tuesday 3/12. This morning I phoned, to be advised that there was not stock and that the phone will be dispatched. It seems that a simple Huawei Y7 2019 suddenly became so popular that customers have to be **** to in order to get stock. I was promised that this phone will be delivered by Thursday. It leaves a bad impression that insurance companies are eager to take premiums but are so slow to actually pay out when claims are handed in. Be assured that we will never out of our own free choose this insurance company ever again.
Thank you for contacting Cell C.

After my call to the insurance on Monday, I was assured, in writing by Nokwethemba , that the phone would be delivered on Thursday. Yet another empty promise. I went to the Springs Mall Cell C. Bronwyn kindly assisted me. She phoned the insurance company, an38 minutes later, I was advised by Masetshaba that the phone will not be delivered. No reason nothing. I refused to accept this and insisted that I speak to the manager. Again I had to hold. I was then requested to supply my telephone number and address with the assurance they will TRY and get the courier to deliver the phone to my home, today, Thursday. Guess what, it is 22h38 on Thursday evening 2 December and NOTHING. NO phone call to either apologize are making alternative arrangements. PATHETIC is the least to say.
