I'm extremely disappointed in Cell C. My aunt helped me to upgrade my contract to a s23 ultra with a samsung galaxy watch 5.
In the cellc connector it shows that you qualify for a pair of Samsung galaxy buds2 pro for free.
The parcel is phone was delivered today 22 MAY 2023 and I started to check how to claim the buds. I phoned Samsung and they told me I have to get a invoice or a proof of purchase from Cell C to claim the buds.
I phoned Cellc and after holding on for more than an hour I was told that they can only give me a copy of the contract after July the 20th.
This is absolutely disappointing as the whole reason for upgrading the contract was the free Earbuds. If the deal was not meant for upgrades it was supposed to show that in your connector booklet.
I would love to hear from you on how to restore my faith in Cell C as I've been a loyal cellc customer for more than 15 years,

I have been getting sms to rica my number *** before the end of July 2023.
I started getting these sms on the 23 of May 2023.
On the 24 of May 2023 my phone stopped making outgoing calls and I kept in getting a message saying I must Rica my number.
I'm the original sms I was prompted to go to a cellc store, pep or shoprite to rica.
As we don't have a cellc shop in Empangeni or Richards Bay anymore ( you guys closed them overnight) I went to the a Pep Home. A lovely lady tried to rica my existing sim card.
After scanning my ID and proof of residence and going through the motions we tried to make a call and it still gave us the same message.
She them suggested I buy a new sim and rica it and do a sim swap.
And of course we went through it.
I waited patiently for the sim swap to be completed and I lost signal on the existing sim.
I then inserted the new sim and tried to make a call. I was then greeted by the same message saying I must rica.
After phoning your call centre and explaining my problem I was told to go the cellc shop. The closest one to me being 180km from me. I that would cost me way more than a R1000.
This is just rediculous. I understand that it needs to be rica but I then expect you guys to tell me where to go locally as I don't have a cellc shop anymore.
Your customer care agent was very unhelpfull and when I asked for my issue to be escalated I was told the manager would phone me back.
Bearing In mind this is the second time I'm getting this call back message for the day, I just don't have faith,
