Good day, My name is Danniele. I have a contract with Cell C that started in Jan 2019. Just got an sms saying 01/07/2019 Cell c will be increasing the price of ur mobile contrct???? HUH??? Why??? Phoned the useless call centre spoke to Lebo who at first did not have a clue what was going on. After liaising with her 'superior' she took me off hold and just confirmed that prices are going up. According to Cell C it is stated in the T&C's of ur contract that prices will increase every year in July. I have this contract since Jan ( 5 months). I upgraded as many of us do via recorded telephone - the agent on the other side said the contract will cost me R369 pm for 24 months - nothing was said about increases. So Cell c please tell me why my instalment is going up if u not upgrading my phone or package....

Cell C continues to offer great value and utility to customers through its suite of products. However, cost pressure necessitates pricing adjustments as is done annually. On 1 July 2019 Cell C will implement price adjustments on the Pinnacle and MediaPlay (2018) voice contract plans. We have considered the economic pressures facing consumers and have kept the increases as low as is possible – while ensuring we can be sustainable and continue offering customer s great service and products.
