.

Good day about 2 years ago i got myself a cell c sim card.. My whole household was using cell c, myself and my children. My partner has his own cellphone shop and are getting sim cards from cell c, and all the other service providers. After our breakup about 8 months ago he did a simswop on my cell c number, without me knowing, when i phoned cell c they said i do not pass the security questions and the sim swop was granted on his side. From that time till now 8 months later he is still using that sim card, and my what supp linked to that sim card .Sending messages to other people pretending to be me. In the meanwhile i got a restraining order granted by the court against him.I changed to vodacom now but he is still sending me messages from this cell c sim card. I am having proof of all the whatsupps i am receiving from that number and cell c is unwillingly to help me to block that number permanently. I need cell c to trace that sim card and give me proof of the address where the simcard is being held. Or alternative option is to delete the simcard from the network. I am deeply unhapppy with cell c unwillingness to help me. I have proof of the restraining order and the printscreens of the message i receive from the whatsupp number he used on cell c that belonged to me. But no one is willing from cell c to trace the number and the location or to delete this sim card permanently. The cell c number he using to hack and stalk me is ***..Please send me urgent feedback to know how i should proceed please.my email adress is marietjieenslin *** Thank you very much.

Hi Marietjie

Was the number in question registered in your name?

Your husband is the account holder and the SIM card is registered in his name hence the SIM swap processed. If it was the other way around the SIM swap wouldn't have been processed.

The SIM card can only be blocked by the person registered under the number.
