ATT: Remano Steenkamp,
On the 20th November '17 I phoned Cell C customer services in regards with my cellphone upgrade. I spoke to a Remano Steenkamp from the care line; he sorted out my upgrade, put together a whole new package for me and made me sign telephonically, which I agreed to the T's & C's of my new upgrade and device. He ensured me that stock will arrive by the end of that same week and that I will receive my device by this week (27th Nov - 30th Nov '17) -
I told him that I am a working business woman and that my current phone is giving me problems which influences my day-to-day communication and functioning; thus the upgrade is urgent and please needs to be attended to ASAP.
Today, 29th Nov '17, I phone Cell C to do a follow up regarding my upgrade to find out: - the contract is loaded on my name but the device has been discontinued and that I will not be receiving my device.
I find this utter unprofessional!! Would Cell C have informed me in any way that I will have to make an alternative plan?? Would they have phoned me and communicated with me that the upgrade done telephonically is void because there is no device available for the contract that Remano Steenkamp has worked out for me?? No communication from Cell C, I now have a new upgrade loaded on my name which I agreed to only based on what Remano Steenkamp has promised and agreed to.
I am a loyal paying customer of two cellphone contracts with Cell C, my account has always been up to date. I deserve better that what I have received. due to the urgency of my situation, i feel entitled to consider cancelling my two contracts along with the upgrade; What else is there to do???
