Atrocious service from Cell C

The below is an email that I sent to Cell C back in October after having sent in my phone for repairs in September…. And to date (5months later) there’s still no resolution or response or any form of communication. So much for a communications company that can’t even do what there business model is based on. 0 customer service. 0 integrity. The service is atrocious!!!!!! To say the least. In the 5 months they’ve been unable to resolve my issue, they’ve continued to debit my account with R2000.00+ monthly…. So I’m paying for a service that I’m not receiving. R10 000.00+ for 0 service with no phone.

Here’s the email below, to which not a single person responded to:

Good day,

I’ve received poor service from Cell C, despite having been with Cell C for over 20 years. The services you offer are appalling to say the least.

I’ve been a Loyal client to the core!!!! But this time around my loyalty is not being reciprocated as one would expect. I booked my phone for repairs in September 2023 and nothing has been done since. It's been over 3 months (a quarter of the year) and I still don't have my phone and it hasn't been repaired.

Ref no.: GPSA468822 - Mail was sent from the Kolonade store on the 18th of September querying the ridiculous quote they gave. No attempt to service the long term client. Instead they want to replace my current phone with a more expensive version of the iPhone 13.

Again a follow up was done and the store consultant spoke to Bongi, Bonolo, Lebo and Nomthandazo from the repairs department. 4 different people just get assistance (pathetic) which STILL yielded no results.

Their supervisors are always too busy to take a call. Either they're out on lunch or in a meeting or simply on leave. This is the ****tiest service provider ever. I think I'll move all my contracts (including my wife's and the kids) over to MTN South Africa

The latest feedback received is that Cell C no longer has stock of my particular model of the iPhone, hence the silly quote.

Now my question to Cell C is this:

Are you willing to lose a long time client due to your lack of service, inability to communicate with clients and lack of stock availability?

As a telecommunications company, you should either place the client in the same position as they were prior to the phone being booked for damages or place that client in a better position.

I will leave it at your discretion to consider how you’re going to deal with this. I for one will definitely be terminating all my subscriptions with Cell C should this matter not be resolved within 5 business days.

I await your feedback in this regards

Regards
