***** at Cell C - deserves zero stars

I am so pained and quite irritated writing this review. From this August I was shocked to see Cell C appearing on my debit orders. A cellphone contract. Obviously this was shocking to me as I currently have a new device and it was purchased in cash. I have no desire to have a cellphone contract at all. They were debiting me for a device I do not have and have never even registered for. They had my full name and address and even had my banking details. They even had my ID number. All this is information I have never given to them. They were able to create a contract in my name and sent a device to this *****ster in my name. I then began investigating and trying my level best to be calm and get to the bottom of this . Cell C call center personnel were absolutely ****py and horrible to me on the phone. I was trying to get the call recordings and information about the person the phone was delivered to. They did not help me. Instead they are muting my pleas. I first contacted Cell C ***** department via email on the 19th of September and sent them 2 emails to rectify this ***** conducted in my name. Till today they have not done a single thing to fix the issue. They have not even begun investigating the matter. I even contacted the call center to have it attended in a timely fashion, still nothing. I even asked for certain evidence so I can go ahead and open a ******** case of ***** at the SAPS and they could not give me any information. They kept trying to protect the person involved with the ***** and didn’t want to help me at all. I even mentioned that this appears to be my profile on your system, how are you denying me information on “my” profile. To make things even worse, apparently there was a contract signed. I then requested the documents and proof of this signing, nobody sent them to me. I even asked for the email address they supposedly sent the contract to for final signing off and they had no email on record. I then asked them for an email address where statements get sent and they didn’t have any email on record. All in all, Cell c allowed a *****ster to get a cellphone contract in my name and made sure I don’t get helped in stopping this nonsense or even getting a ******** case reported. Instead of them helping me clear my name, they have been sending their debt collectors to call me for nonpayment of an account I did not even create and have no knowledge of. My credit record is going to the toilet at this point and they may even blacklist me for their nonsense. I have been trying and trying to get my name cleared but nothing has been done. All in all if Cell C has your personal information just know at some point ***** is going to happen in your name because they could not even give me the name of the call center agent in charge of this sale. Each agent gets commission when they make a sale. This just further incriminates Cell C in my books. They had every motive to do such nonsense and I am the only one losing.
