Approved Contract or so I thought

I app**** for a new cell phone contract with Cell c a couple of weeks ago, I was told I would be notified in 24 hours of approval, nothing happened, I thought it was probably declined, since I had no feedback whatsoever, then last week Tuesday the 4th of August 2015 I got a call saying I was approved for a contract of R260 or something like that, I then requested the Huawei Ascend G7, I was told that everything went through and I can expect delivery by Friday the 14th of August 2015. Nothing happened, I phoned in now and was told that my contract is still pending, why is this taking so long and why would your staff tell me to expect delivery when nothing is happening? I requested this phone and contract for a reason, and a phone is required urgently! This type of service is unacceptable, and how to manage customer expectations even worse
