Appalling, ********* and misleading services
I'm querying a matter based on the appalling, ********* and misleading services that I had received at the cell c store situated in Craddle Stone Krugersdorp.
I have been mislead by an employee of that store in Craddle Stone, who had sold me a phone on contract using a persuasive marketing method, in order to get me hooked up into taking the phone on contract.
She had told me that I was to only pay monthly fee of R249.00 alone per month for the Huawei G7, and had not stated that the monthly fee would also include an additional R47 for vat.
I was fuming when I realised these additional charges when I reviewed my charges this month, and so I approached the store and spoke to the manger and they did nothing about the matter even after stating to him that nothing concerning the vat/additional fees was stated by the time the contract was taken.
This is a material matter of the contract, for if one enters a contract and he/she enters it as a matter of being mislead. He/she is entitled to remedies of in terms of the law of contract, therefore an entitlement of damages and specific performance or cancellation of the contract should be given.
