Appalling Customer Service

My mobile was pick pocketed on the 17th of March 2017. I called Cell C customer care on 140 on the 18th of March 2017 at 18:12pm from cell nr ********** 262 and spoke to Refilwe. The call lenght was 19 minutes 41 seconds. I requested that my nr ********** 007 be disconnected/blocked (prepaid). I also requested that my handset be blocked. I provided Refilwe with the imei nr of my device. I also answered security questions for her. At the end of the call I requested a reference number for the call in order for me to open a case at the Police Station. To my dismay, Refilwe advised that her ``screen`` cannot refresh and a reference number for the call will be sms`d to me. To date I have not received the reference number. On the 19th of March 2017 at 07:25am I called 140 again to follow up. I spoke to Mbali. The call lenght was 12 minutes 19 seconds. I am disgusted to be informed by Mbail that none of my request to disconnect my service and block my device was expedited. I once again request the same from Mbali. All of a suddden I `failed`` to answer all of the security questions correctly, whereas I did with Refilwe the previous day. Mbali than refused the block my handset. In reality this means that the ******* who toomy tablet has full use of my device. They have all my personal information at hand. What are these ******** no capable of? Cell C is helping them with their ********ity as my device is not blocked. Please help. I can be contacted on ********** 262 and ********** .

As per our system your services were blocked on the 18 March 2017 as requested by Refiloe. We will request one of our consultants to assist with blacklisting your handset.

Please accept my apology for the late reply. I had log in issues,

I confirm and advice that Maropeng from Cell C contacted me on the 20th of March 2017 around 9am. He resolved my complaint in a very professional manner. I would like to commend Maropeng for his efficiency during our conversations and he kept to his word when he promised to call me back at a certain timeand he was punctual as well. Cell C needs more employees like him.

On a more sour note. Refliwe and Mbali should be held accountable for their poor service as they are the face of Cell C. First contact to your millions of subscribers and than they provide such pathetic service to Cell C subscribers.
