Alleged mobile contract debt

I contacted cell c direct last week Monday 15/02/2021 to apply for a new cell phone contract. The lady who was assisting me advised that I owe cell c. I explained to her that I had a contract with cell c previously and I gave them notice as per their terms and conditions that I will not be renewing my contract at the end of contract term. At the end of that contract term my line was changed to prepaid till now. I even received an sms from them confirming same upon termination. She then took me through the application for the new line, got an approval and was told that I will be getting my phone on the week ending 26/02/2021. On the 23/02/2021 I did a follow up on my new mobile phone delivery and to my surprise I was told that my application was declined due to the fact that I owe cell c. I got a reference number ***) upon lodging my complain with them on the 23 of February and to date no one from Cell c contacted me. I DO NOT OWE CELL C, if I owe Cell C why is Cell C not making means to collect what Cell C allege I owe them? REALLY

Please Cell C rectify your books as I do not owe you and whatever you did on my profile is blocking me to get a new mobile phone.
