Added new contract with No Consent

I recently agreed to an upgrade on my Cell C contract. The Consultant ended up adding an additional contract to my account. I do not want an additional line and cannot afford an additional line. Cell C now wants me to pay almost R5000 to cancel a contract I did not want in the first place. I have asked Cell C to provide me proof if they insist that I have agreed but this but to no avail. Have contacted them numerous times but they seem reluctant to share the recording of the call. I have not used this line and am requesting that any charge in regard to this line be canceled immediately.

So this is an update on the matter. After posting this complaint I was called by a Cell C social media consultant who wanted to understand my complaint. The consultant claimed that she had listened to the call and concluded that I had indeed agreed to an additional contract. I then questioned her as to highlight any phrase in the conversation where I agreed to a new contract and to the amount that they were billing me for and she could not. In fact, her conclusion is based on the fact I agreed that Cell C can send me a new sim card.
The fact is that the consultant called me and offered me an upgrade. Never was the words new contract mentioned. Also, the amounts are not mentioned in the called. I also had a whatsapp conversation with the original sales consultant to this effect but the consultant was using disappearing messages so the evidence of this is gone.
Cell C refuses to provide me with the recording which is not legal. I have decided to escalate this matter to either ombudsman or to the court.
But in the meantime let me make sure to warn people on social pages.

So today I was contacted by the same Cell C consultant. Cell C who insists that me agreeing to recieve a new simcard means that I have agreed to an additional contract. When even in the call we agree that the airtime and minutes will come to my existing sim card and that my free minutes and data will still be available after the expiration of the contract. Also, the context of the call was the consultant calling me to offer me an upgrade. Ontop of that the amount of a new contract is not even mentioned in the call.
Imagine if contracts being handed out on street corners meant signing up for a contract.
On top of it Cell C will not share a copy of the verbal contract (the call). This company is a ****

In all your responses you seem to focus only on the recording...
The issue is infact that I did not provide consent to sign up for an additional contract. Neither did I agree to the amount on the billing invoice.

Final update on this matter as I have managed to reach a conclusion with Cell C. Let me say that there are people in this company who are able to conduct themselves professionally even in when in disagreement with the customer. Sadly, it took 3 months and many frustrating interactions to get to these professionals. Perhaps just to say that I am still a Cell C customer.
@Hellopeter, it would be good if the reviewer is able to rate with every follow up comment. My most recent interaction is not justified by the initial 1 star rating
