Good day,
I have been trying to resolve the final settlement amount on my Cellc Fibre cancellation since middle January 2020. It has been a constant back and forth of emails. I notified Cellc to cancel my connection on 27 January 2020 for end of February 2020. However they informed me of this extremely large settlement amount that i needed to pay. Never the less the contract was not cancelled and i was still charged the monthly premium for no use of the fibre line. The consultant then informed me that after they went through all my paperwork ect it was noted that I had discounted installation and connection fee even though no installation was done at the premises that we rented at. There was existing equipment in the unit - the only item i received as new was the wifi router. The consultant via email confirmed that my final settlement will be the amount of R1071.19 for the remainder of the contract. However on the 6th of April i receive my CellC statement with the settlement of R2665.23? I have tried phoning Cellc fibre but they are not available during lockdown, nor is anyone responding to my emails? Who do i take this up with? I would like my account to be rectified and the March and April installments to be deducted from my settlement and refunded for whatever the difference is as i did not use the fibre connection for the month of March and April.
I am tired of phoning and emailing and just being ignored? I am most definitely not recommending Cellc to anyone.
Would love for someone with more authority to contact me and resolve this matter before the end of April.
Best regards,
