Account handed over

We have 3 contracts with CellC. One is due for an upgrade. We live in Alberton and went all the way to Greenstone Mall on Sunday 05 April 2015. As they were the only branch with stock of the phone i wanted. We were just about to finish up when the consultant told us that we can not continue as our account has been handed over to lawyers. This was so embarrassing!!<br> This came to a shock to us as we were not aware. We were told to sort this out on Tue. I phoned 5 times to sort this out and even phoned the lawyer. No joy! The first call the call centre agent said its a mistake and will remove the notice. The second one had a attitude of pay your debt and you wont have a problem. eventually the third lady in the legal dep told us we owed April and May 2014. I have mailed the proof of payment to them an still till today no feedback. none of this is indicated on our statements? Our phones lines were not cut. how on earth must we smell that there is a problem. Can someone please get back to us. I tried calling the legal dep to find out if its sorted but they dont pick up,
