Account debited after the contract was cancelled

I had 2 contracts with Cell c, A cell phone and a month to month data sim. i decided to pay off my phone on December and in January it was cancelled and the data sim was also cancelled in January. The consultant i spoke to advised me that cellc will only debit R1.50cent which was outstanding on my cellphone contract and they wont debit for my data sim, to my surprised yesterday on the 27th my account was debited for my data sim and i never received data for the sim card and i was informed that its cancelled and i chose to keep the number as prepaid.

Ive been calling cell c, they are tranferring me to one department to the other . I was a refund of my money why did they debit my account whereas they didnt even send me data for the month.

The consultant who assisted me with the cancellation was not truthful, because he didn't give me the correct information.
