Account closure letter/Paid up letter request - Poor service

Good day All,

I was happy with the services rendered at Cellc for the past two years till i requested for my account to be closed and to be issued with an account closure letter, i paid the amount requested and had my account closed and when i went to the branch in Calton center they advised they do not issue account closure letters but my account closure should be updated with Bureau , i checked on the 10nth and till now i have an account with cellc according to record and i can't apply for another contract due to my payment obligations , every company has a confirmation of account closure letter it should be hard for me to be issued that and even retention keeps offering me products instead of giving me what i am asking for ...this makes me question if i would ever want to take up another contract with this company again.
