Account active but contract was canceled

I canceled my contract with cellc in 2021. I currently have no contract with cell however there's a cell c account that appears on my credit record as active. I have enquired with cellc to find out why I still have an active account appearing on my credit and all the call center agents keep repeating is my contacts were canceled so I don't know what to do anymore to get it removed on my records. Hopefully they'll be someone competent enough to assist me with this
