Absolutely no Customer Care
At this stage, I am really disgusted by the way in which Cell C is handling my case. I was offered a migration package at a reduced rate, which I accepted on 20 January 2021.
On the 9th of February 2021, I received my bill and it did not reflect the conversation the I had with the agent in January - the bill was almost R500 more! A case was then opened and I received a call on the 11th February 2021. After looking at the account, she could see that the discount was not app**** and that they would need to listen to the recordings then fix the account. She also indicated that the turn-around time was 48 hours.
After this conversation, I followed up as follows:
- 23/02/2021: Spoke to Mabel (***) - 24/02/2021: Spoke to Wonga (***) - 25/02/2021: Spoke to Hlengiwe (no reference) - 3/3/2021: Spoke to Makhosi (***) - 7/3/2021 Sent an email to ***
All consultants told me that the turn-around time is 48 hours. I also received an automated email indicating that the turn-around time is 48 hours. Three business days have yet again passed since my last email, and again - no one has called me back.
In the meantime, a total amount of R786.68 (excl VAT) for this account has gone off on the 16th of February 2021. I also received the new bill which still does not reflect the discounted rate offered. This debit order is due to go off on the 16th March 2021 - two business days left before this deduction.
In these tight economic times, I am actually disgusted that Cell C has this little regard for its clients. I have tried my level best to get this sorted out but the lack of response from Cell C is very disheartening.
I would really appreciate it if this matter can be resolved before the next payment is due (16 March 2021). That is, the discount needs to be app**** to: - January 2021 bill - February 2021 bill - March bill
After a month since the problem has been identified, is a resolution too much to ask for?
