404 - Agreement Term Does Not Exist!

Account Contract Term.

What does this mean to Cell C, and other network providers? It means they get to overcharge you for your agreement term, for whatever you buy, and you only get 1 month to decide if Cell C is worth it or not. After that, when you realize what you're paying for - incompetence; inexperience; and very poor customer service - it's too late, you're bound to that contract period until it's over, or face the cancellation fees. But wait, that's not true either. That's the beauty of this con of a company; there's no end to it, even if the contract clearly states "x amount of months" they will charge you if you don't tell them explicitly that you want the contract to end. OH and don't even try doing that when they start calling you to upgrade 3 months before the end. No, you have to call them exactly 31 days before your contract ends, if you don't want to be billed afterwards.

That's right. Take a day off work, Call their customer centers, and request for a cancellation. It might take you a couple of hours, but that's definitely worth not being billed beyond the agreement term!

Why do we put up with this!

Good morning Janine
In line with the terms and conditions of the subscriber agreement, you are required to provide a calendar month notice in order to have your contract cancelled on its maturity date.

If this agreement is not cancelled during the contract period or on expiry of the contract period and is not renewed, then this agreement will run for
the contract period and then on a month-to-month basis until the agreement is cancelled.

We can confirm that a future action for cancellation of your contract was put in place for 07/07/2019.

Regards
DA

Best regards,

JM

Reviewer Update
Thank you for repeating what I stated in my review.

  • I would like to change my review to 0 stars, but unfortunately that's not possible.
  • I was charged for a full month of July, which I want a refund of.
  • I requested the cancellation 2 months before maturity, voice log is available.
  • Why am I being charged for August?
