12 month prepaid data bundle 'cancelled' before 12 months is up

<p>I bought a prepaid 3GB data bundle valid for 12 months on about 21 Dec 2016. I tried to use it yesterday (6 Aug 2017) and found the SIM had been cancelled and the number recycled. After speaking to the call centre, then visiting the store and eventually ending up with the 'manager' at the call centre, I was told it is policy to recycle a number not used for 3 months. While I understand how this policy would apply to monthly SIMs/numbers, it is clearly misapp**** when using it on a purchase that is supposed to be valid for 12 months.</p> <p> </p> <p>In short, Cell C has not supp**** me what it said it would in the time frame provided. It is now trying to hide behind a misapp**** policy that I was told was on the website, but I can't find on the website, to justify this.</p> <p> </p> <p>I would like my SIM and missing data replaced please</p>
