100 GB of data lost in a second

On 13 December 2016 I bought 100 GB of data for R1000.00 because I wanted to have access to the internet at home for my convenience. Also I bought a new phone as my old cell C number was giving me problems and Decided to get a new phone. I was told that to use this new phone I have to get a new Vodacom numbers, I went to cell and told them that I have 100 gb of data that I have just bought and I have to change/port to Vodacom and to retain my data is it possible to get a new cell c numbers and get my data transferred to anew numbers, I was told by consultants that I am have to forfeit 100gigs of data. To my thinking all they had to do is just transfer data from one number to the new one! I even had to call the Cell C center and I couldn't get help, just like that I lost 100 gigs of data! I would like hello Peter to help me with this issue please because I believe that my 100 gigabytes of data is just hanging somewhere in Cell C's network or somebody might be using it for themselves. Please, please hello Peter help me, please I don't have money to just loose 100 gb of data just like that. Please, please, please help me hello Peter!
