100 GB data bundle expired within two months
I got a 3Gb contract with cell C. When my contract reach 12 months in February 2016 I have bought a 100GB voucher from Cell C in Matlosana mall Klerksdorp. On the date of purchase I have told the lady to stop the contract as I have bought the 100Gb which they told me is valid for 365 days, but in March the debit order of the contract went off again. So I called customer care to find out whats going on and they informed me that the contract wasn’t stopped as the lady at Cell C Matlosana mall Klerksdorp have told me, they also told me if they stop the contract now I must still pay for April. This means I have to pay 2 months more than I should have for Cell C’s fault. The contract would then be stopped at the end of April. On 30th April my internet stop to work, and I couldn’t log into the self-service as well, so I called customer care again just to find out not only my contract was stopped, but my whole number were cancelled. That means I’ve lost my R1200 - 100Gb of data bundle I’ve bought. This is not acceptable. The guy who should have cancelled my contract didn’t mentioned anything that I would lost my 100Gb of data, so did the lady that I bought the data from and who told me she have stopped the contract in February also didn’t mentioned anything that u lost the data bundle once they stop the contract. The cell C shop only advise to me is call their customer care line and try to fix it myself. If Cell C says its valid for 365 days don't believe them. They can cancel it anytime they want too. Every time U get into a Cell C shop please record everything they say cause what they say and do differ pretty much and guess who pay for it. . I have been on the phone for several hours now from cancellations to your legal department and back and no one can assist me. Is it possible to get me recording of my phone call when I cancelled the contract. ***. Cell no – ***.
