I had a contract woth cell c but it was under my boyfriend’s name. Towards the end of my contract my boyfriend transfered money +-R2000 to cell account by mistake and when he requested a refund they refused and said they can settle the contract and they will give him benefits with the remaining amount. My contract was left with 3 or 4 months before it ends and it was just under R400 per month. So he agreed with them and then they said we must request for termination of the contract so that it ends on the end date. We did and cell c sent me an sms confirming the termination date of the contract but before the contract was terminated they permanently deactivated my sim card until now I can’t use it. We went to them they promised to sort it out but they didn’t instead they said it was deactivated by legal department but they don’t have a reason as to why it was deactivated because if it was because of short payment they wouldn’t have given my boyfriend another contract early this year. What can I do I really need that number back. I cantacted MTN and they said the number is still with cell c and cell c needs to activate it before it can be ported back to MTN
