Do Not Fall For This!

I received a phone call on Friday, 13 March 2026 from CDS Consulting Pty Ltd. The woman that called me claimed that I was paying too much money towards my car instalment and that the Provider was “*****ing” my money from me. She then transferred me to someone else who claimed that they would be giving me my “****** money” back. The reason for their phone call was to assist me in this procedure. I questioned them multiple times and asked them if they were a debt review company and he adamantly denied that they were. He said that I had nothing to worry about and that that was not the reason for his phone call. They asked me to confirm all the information that they had on me and then wanted access to my bank account. They hounded me with emails and WhatsApp messages. I have not signed up for debt review yet they continue to try and take money from me. When I phoned and said that I did not agree to this, they told me I had to pay a R3000 cancellation fee. When I later phone them back (after numerous attempts because the call never goes through) and told them I would take legal action, the person on the line told me that I am free to do what I like and that they would not cancel the supposed “debt review application” that I was under. DO NOT FALL THIS!
