BEWARE! Calls from NCR actually CDS CONSULTING

I received a call today from an agent saying they were from the NCR and I had been selected as they noted that banks were over charging me on my car payments. They then proceeded to list my vehicle and the bank payments as well as my ID and email address which was VERY concerning. I told them I was concerned this is a **** and he said but they already have all my info so what's the problem? I continued to ask questions not convinced. He told me I was wasting his time and I cut the call. I then noticed an SMS confirming that I had given CDS Consulting permission for a credit report which I most definitely did not. I presume they use the info from the credit report to build trust to disclose the information that they do not have or "agree" to other *****ulent transactions. I have logged a case with the NCR and I suggest that every one who has experienced this do the same!
