Terrible service experience from CCD Couriers

I've got two parcels that are due to be delivered to me from Rain through CCD Couriers. I'd received emails and sms's throughout last week confirming that the delivery would take place today. I even received an sms yesterday and early this morning confirming the delivery appointment, and I continued to clear the day for this purpose. Within two minutes after I received today's confirmation sms, I received a call from an agent at CCD Couriers informing me that due to a backlog, they need to reschedule my delivery appointment. He claimed that they had not received the parcel(s) from Rain as yet, even though I've received numerous communique from them advising that both parcels had been received by them. I firmly believe that he was lying to me, and I neglected to ask whether the backlog was on Rain's, or CCD Courier's side, so I requested that he escalates the matter to a supervisor and someone at Rain. I've heard nothing back from either companies.

I'm extremely frustrated about this because not only is it impacting my finances, but also my time. I cancelled all my meeting today to ensure a smooth delivery process and the manner that this has taken place is completely unacceptable.
