Poor Communication: Passing the Buck
A delivery was made this morning, 14 April (around 9:30am) for my daughter, who was not home at that time - needless to say she was not informed that her bank card would be delivered between 8am and 10 am. There was no communication about having a copy of ID document and copy of proof of residence ready for the delivery person. I invited the delivery man (Jarod) into my home, as I realised I would have to call my daughter to find out how long she would be. Meanwhile, I was about to make copied of her ID and proof of residence, when Jarod jumped up and said he can't 'hang around here waiting\ and stomped out the door. That's when I asked his name.
My point: - As a business delivering a service, you cannot expect the client to hand around waiting if she was not expecting you at that time! The delivery person said it was the job of his office to have informed us and \"not his problem\". My observation: - That CCD outsources their delivery to private persons who do not have any sense of corporate responsibility or interest in the company's image. Also, POOR communication between CCD, delivery person and client! Also not enough space to here to explain latter point.
"
Confirming that we will be delivering the card to you tomorrow afternoon as discussed.
Kind regards,
