Credit card account frozen until new card is delivered.
Several failed deliveries because the driver either refuses to call or is not equipped to do so. I've been waiting for a delivery of a new credit card for a month now, and every day there's a new excuse or story that gets spun. I've been unable to use my credit card account for a month now, as it's frozen until the new card is delivered.
Every time I call, I get told that the driver has been at my gate and tried to contact me, and that I haven't answered. This is a lie. My phone call log shows NO missed calls and I've stood at my gate waiting each time they send me a "we're a few minutes away" SMS, only to have my time wasted and be **** to when I call to sort it out.
Several call centre associates have escalated this issue to no avail. Each time I get told they will call me back, but they never do.
I don't understand why it's so difficult to deliver a piece of plastic, but if CCD Couriers can't even get that right, perhaps they should not be trusted to provide this service. I don't see how I can receive deliveries from several other companies without there ever being an issue, yet CCD Couriers fails on almost every front to complete a successful delivery.
Why did it take numerous phone calls over a span of 2 weeks and a negative Hello Peter review to have my card delivered? This is your primary business function, not a special request. Why was I accused of lying when I said the courier never contacted me and never pitched up?
The call centre agent had to phone me to let me know the driver was here and then patch me through to him. So clearly there was no way for him to call me himself. Which proves my point in my inital review that he was lying about having called me. Additionally, I saw his vehicle when he eventually delivered the card and can confirm that he was definitely not here earlier in the day when he said he was.
What are the repercussions for this kind of behaviour? And, most importantly, why have you not equipped your drivers with the ability to call your customers? It's ludicrous that they don't have airtime available to them or some means of contacting the people they're delivering goods to.
CCD Couriers really needs to pull up their socks and be better. Your couriers lie to you and your customers, and your call centre staff are in dire need of training.
