CCD couriers; what benefit is it to use of the services of a courier company if they can only deliver during office hours.

i called FNB on 7 June to report a lost credit card. I was told that the card will be delivered on 9th June. I received a text message from CCD courires to inform me that they tried to call me. When i called back at around 5.30 pam i got a message saying that CCD's office hours are from 9-5pm on weekdays only. a few minutes later i got a call from an operator of CCD indicating that they had my card and want to schedule an appointment but "it will only be next week". I scheduled an appoointment for 12 June with the porviso that CCD calls me in the morning to indicate what time they will come to my office. When i did not receive a call by 10am i called CCD couriers to enquire about my card delivery. I was told (by Chante) that no appointment was scheduled forthe delivery of my card. So i asked when can the card be delivered. I was told , ' next week'. Bearing in mind that it was Monday morning, this infuriated me. My question to the operator was that, 'next week' is a standard response when asked about a delivery date.

For the next time I will ensure that FNB does NOT use the services of CCD couriers to deliver any of my cards.
