CCD Couriers ***********!

On Friday the 23 February 2024,I logged a request for the delivery of my bank card through my banking app. My bank uses CCD couriers and I received confirmation that the card will be delivered on Wednesday the 28 Feb 2024 between 8 am - 10 am. I do not go to work and sit at home to wait for the delivery guys and they never arrive. Around 4pm I call the company to inquire what happened and I am told that they did come however I was not at home. I inform them that I stay in an access controlled complex and if there was someone at the gate for me the security guys would have called to inform me and I did not receive such a call. I am told that they took a picture of my complex as proof that they were here only to find that the picture referred is of the complex opposite where I stay not MY place. I am told that I must wait for 5 days for delivery and I simply refuse, the lady escalates the matter and manages to arrange for delivery for the 1 March 2024. Around 11 am I get a sms that the delivery guys are 15 minutes away, I quickly call this company to confirm that they have my correct address and this was confirmed. I stand outside and see a delivery lady from CCD couriers leaving my complex, without knocking at my door or calling me! I go to her and ask if she’s not here to deliver something for me, she tells me she just spoke to a Philiswa who said she wasn’t at home! I show her my ID and my phone, then she acts all confused, this lady never came to knock at my door, nor did she call me and had I not stood outside she would have left and logged that I wasn’t at home! And I again would have been inconvenienced! The whole point of choosing a delivery system is to avoid going to the bank, I am heavily pregnant. But this whole experience and distress has caused me to wish I’d have the card delivered at the bank. These delivery guys have displayed an extreme level of ignorance, incompetence and lack of due diligence!
