Bank card destroyed before being delivered

I was extremely sick last week unable to meet the courier at the Rustenburg Waterfall Mall on Wednesday. I called and rescheduled for this week and now the bank card has been destroyed. This is unacceptable. I have raised this issue with Barclays.
