Bad Service

I am writing this with disappointment and dissatisfaction with the service received from CCD Couriers.

On Friday the 04th of January 2019, I received a call from CCD indicating that my card would be delivered on Monday the 07th between 12h00 and 16h00.

I then cancelled all my appointment between those hours and insured I am at the delivery address between those hours, infact I even called CCD the morning at around 11am to confirmed the time and was told between the above mentioned hours. I called again around 14h00 to follow up and the lady that picked up advised that he will call the driver and check the whereabout and call me back in 5 minutes which never happened.

At 15h30 seeing the day is almost over I called and spoke to 2 call centre agents that said they are calling the driver and put me on hold subsequently drop the phone.

I then spoke to Nomthandazo who was still looking at the status of my deliver mentioning there is a note that the driver called me and couldn’t reach me then Lungile gave a call back. She advised the same that the driver says he called but was not available.

I want to state that the driver is lying and must produce phone records that he tried calling me. I was at the gate from all those hours and he didn’t come here, neither did he try to call me. My phone was always on and its is me that made follow-up.

I am not happy with this as I could have done other important things rather than staying for a driver that **** to say he came but did not even attempt. This must be investigated as to why a person would say he called but the next person does not have records of such a call. I am very disappointed because CCD wasted my day for nothing.
