A very unhappy client, who will certainly share my experience.

I app**** for a savings account online, I then received a notification from CCD on 27th of September confirming that a consultant will call me to book an appointment to deliver my card. A call was made to myself shortly after this sms was received and an appointment was made for the delivery to take effect at 10-12pm on the 28th of September.

This all went smoothly until CCD couriers dropped the ball.

On the day of delivery CCD called me at 11am to advise that the driver is running late and they rescheduled the delivery for 12-2pm which I agreed to, the driver did not pitch for this delivery either and a further call was made to myself at 4pm confirming that they couldn't meet the delivery appointments on the 28th of September and the consultant due to the delay. The delivery was rescheduled for the 3rd of October at 11-1pm. At this stage I realized my ID was not with me and the driver could not accept my temp driver license which I then told him he can deliver the next day.

To my suppose on the 4th of October I got an sms from CCD advising that the delivery attempts have been exceeded. I immediately called CCD to query how I exceeded the delivery attempts when they missed 2 attempts.

The consultant could not answer my question when they clearly messed up and escalated the matter.

First delivery attempt was on the 3rd and to date I do not have my card. I have not received feedback as to when my card will be delivered AND I AM BILLED R150 for a delivery CCD FAILED TO MEET.

Oh no, if this is how capitec and your contracting courier company wants to do business I do not want to be affiliated with you guys.

capitec can close the account and recover your funds from CCD who failed to do their job from the onset.
