5 months of issues, and now a delivery mix-up

For the past five months, I have been struggling with Rain to resolve an ongoing issue. On Monday, 17 August 2026, Rain finally confirmed that a new router would be delivered to me. CCD Couriers also confirmed that they were in possession of my package and arranged delivery for today, Friday, 21 August 2026.

However, when the courier arrived, he delivered only a SIM card — no router. My daughter, who accepted the delivery on my behalf, immediately informed me, and I called Rain straight away. Rain confirmed on their side that both a router and a SIM card were scheduled for delivery.

This raises the obvious question: why did CCD Couriers arrive with only a SIM card, when both companies confirm a router was also due?

After five months of trying to resolve this, I expect Rain and CCD Couriers to sort this out between them without further delay. I would like my router delivered by close of business today, and I do not think this is an unreasonable request given the circumstances. If not, I will take the matter further with every ombudsman regulating the internet service providers and courier companies.
