****- even the staff

This company is full of ****** and they just there to make sure that you don’t receive your deposit when you move out, I was paying rental for my brother at Riverside which is part of CBD residency. In June 2020 we supp**** the company with a notice stating that he would be moving out month end of July, the notice was accepted. We paid rental till the last month of he’s stay. On the 31st July 2020 my brother moved out and the staff gave him a pass out slip to say he is moving out but no inspection was done and no one informed us that he had to wait for that, 30 days later I called their offices and was informed that payments will only be done once the country got to level 1 lockdown, I totally understood this and was patient. In October I called them to find out what was the delay and was informed that we need to come in to complete the exit forms, we asked for the forms to be sent via email but they said no we need to come in. We traveled over 120km to get to them and when we got there Janna the same lady I spoke to the previous Friday said that they can’t refund us our deposit as the funds were used for Augusts rental, the next question was why and her response was because my brother left a sheet in the room... We asked to go see this and nothing like that was there, we than requested the deposit the next story was that they didn’t receive the keys. We called in the guard who was on duty and he told us a story, we requested CCTV footage for the day and apparently it wasn’t working. How convenient... Janna the lady responsible for payments said we won’t get the deposit back straight up
