Firstly to move out is a challenge you can't move out without paying for the remaining months of contract even if you are left with 4 or 3 months you must pay all those months. They deduct R350 for the room cleaning which is compulsory, it makes me laugh when I see the room which is charged R350 for cleaning it looks like a toilet and you are sharing which means R700 for cleaning. The rooms can't fit even 2 single beds and 2 small tables. One other thing they charged my niece for R550 for a table which she was sharing with a roommate, because it has cracks and according to my niece they received it like that. So Total deduction R900. Please after you are going to stay in CBD residency accommodation please check everything and report everything cause you will cry at the end of the day. And according to Rental Tribunal your deposit must be put in the interest bearing account and at the end when you move out you must get your deposit + interest, but CBD they are not doing that.
