Impossible to checkin online

Website and app checkin a nightmare! Have cathay even tried to do any sort of check in on their website ? Click on a dropdown arrow and wait 10 minute for it to load!!! Took over an hour to just checkin online! Used three different computers with all different browsers and same result! tried the cellphone app, most ridiculous thing ever, passport expires in 2020 Oct and the App wouldnt go through saying passport has expired? Website is utterly unresponsive , app doesnt work! How is this airline in top 10?
