Cathay pacific is *****ing and lie to there customers

I booked a flight on Cathay Pacific and a week before the flight i had to cancel due to medical reasons. I then requested a refund online and then i was refunded the flight cost, less a fee they charged me. I paid R14 946 additional for seat booking, which was not refunded. When i enquired last week about the seat refund, i was told it will be actioned for refund and Cathay Pacific still confirmed the correct amount. Now when i did an enquiry to find out how fat the refund it, i was told the seats will not be refunded as i did it online.

Not sure why the online is different to contact them directly, but due to that i am losing out on my seat refund. Trying to contact them via email is also useless so i am not sure how the correct method of corresponding is with them, but please do not make use of them as their service is pathetic and you are being **** to.

I will never make use of them again.
