CAT phones false advertising

<p>I have a huge problem with false advertising from CAT. I have a contract for my husband who has a CAT phone. My 22 month old daughter sadly got a hold of the phone. However, I was not to worried about it. As it is a CAT phone. For the following reason... Taken directly from CAT's website: </p> <p>"Feel empowered to do more with a smartphone that’s built for life’s real challenges. Dust, high temperatures and drops of up to 6ft are no problem for this IP68 waterproof smartphone designed to withstand even the harshest environments – whether that’s the construction site or the beach."</p> <p>Now, the phone's screen is shattered and the speaker does not wor**** </p> <p>I believe this is false advertising. You pay alot of money per month for a phone you choose according to the specification. </p> <p>According to the Consumer Protection Act this is ******* and against the law.</p> <p>Part E<br />Right to fair and responsible marketing<br />General standards for marketing of goods or services<br />29.
