cat b15q sim reader fail

Today i would like to express my disappointment in cat for there b15q smart-phone. After 4 months of using it the sim reader failed. Not reading or recognising the sim. I sent the phone to cat via vodacom tygervalley and they cat refused to repair the unit as there is damage. Now tel me how do i damage a sim reader on a phone.????? The phone is waterproof and shock proof and ****** dust proof. So how is it that u wont repair my phone under guarantee and want to charge me R900 for a new sim reader. Epic fail cat!!!
